Game of the Week Week 4 July 2007

Buffalo Wild Wings 8-2 vs Rochester Merchants 7-3

This games determined who took second place in the Hiawatha League. Hiawatha is the 3rd Best league in the Men's division played on Tuesdays on Field #3.

One thing to notice in these pictures is how nice the field looks, Dick Gusse the umpire showed up early and sprayed down the field with water. Not his job, but it makes the game so much better. Thank your umpire for going the extra mile.

Game started out as a defensive battle.

Deano at second had a great catch here. This was absolutely one of the best catches I've seen.

This photo of BW3 2nd baseman does the play no justice. Diving snag on a grounder, while the 2nd baseman gets to throwing postion his momentum still knocks him off balance and makes a great throw. Little guys amaze me!

Another big hit for the Rochester Merchants. Nice color scheme!

Throw is not in time.....

Heck of a throw, and #77 has a verticle!

Rochester Merchant's first baseman didn't have the heighth for this throw. Todd just missed this one at first as you can see. BW3 hung on and took sole postion of second place in the Hiawatha league with a 9-8 win over the Merchants.
