Present: Steve Browning, Maria Irish and Becky Macken

Team packets are ready to go: Deadline for entry fees is Tuesday, March 2 and Schedule Pick up is Monday, April 19, 2004 (5-6:30 @ Graham East). All RSA board members are asked to attend the April 19th event. Wear your RSA shirt.

Steve is going to try a "1-pitch" league this fall.

RSA will pay for (4) port-a-potties at McQuillan. Steve will ask maintenance install a bar across the top of the potty shack to prevent vandals from tipping them.

Becky will contact Denny Stotz about the following: 1.to see if there are any CIP (Capital Improvement Projects), slated for 2004 2.about purchasing fence guards for tops of outfield fences 3.about remodeling plans for the old shack (RSA to finance) 4.ask to see if infields got dug up last fall or will be this spring 5.new agri lime on all fields? 6.any chance to put small playground by 6 & 7

RSA is going to put scoreboards on 1 & 2, hopefully with the sponsorships of Coke and Schott.

Steve agreed to follow ASA standards for 2004-bat certification. Ted Dow and Steve will meet to discuss how to facilitate this for umpire and players. RSA suggests putting this info with schedules. Steve agreed. RSA will have this ready when schedules are picked up. We must educate out umpires and managers. They must enforce this.

Steve is going to sanction the Men's and Women's Centennial League USSSA as well as ASA.

RSA has installed an alarm system at the concession stand. Tom Keller will implement procedure manuals for this and see that P & R receives these, as well as necessary vendors. Any questions regarding the alarm system, please contact Tom Keller @ 261-1698.

RSA proposed to Steve that we have "Rochester City League Champion" T-shirts for league champions instead of trophies this year. He agreed to try it, and will contribute the $45/team that is used to purchase trophies. RSA is requesting that their logo is on the T-shirt, and Steve would like to have the 100th Anniversary of P & R on the shirt as well. Maria Irish will get a bid for this. We have a bid from Superior Screeners that is as follows: 2-color print; 400-450 count $3.20/each. This would be on a white shirt. Field Supervisor would hand out shirts to league winners. The RSA will field any complaints about this via the website. A flyer will be put in the manager's packet.

The Rochester Visitors and Convention Bureau, in partnership with the Minnesota Sports Federation and RSA, we attempt to bid on a National ASA Tournament for 2006.

The RSA will play host to the 2004 A & B Coed State Tournaments July 31-Aug.1, 2004 @ McQuillan Fields.

RSA Appreciation Week will be held June 14-18. Roy Sutherland has announced that the P & R would like to rename McQuillan Field #5 "Roger Lowe Field". We agreed that it would be most appropriate to do this dedication sometime during this week. More info will follow.

The spring 2004 Edition of the RSA Rundown is in progress. Please submit any newsworthy items to Becky Macken @ beckymacken@hotmail.com

Respectfully submitted,
Becky Macken, RSA Co-President
