Board Meeting Minutes
August 19, 2003 7:00 p.m.
Best Western Apache

Meeting was called to order by Co-President Macken at 7:05 p.m.

Present: Shawn Bishop, Maria Irish, Jan Capelle, Joe Jennison, Tom Keller, Angie Lehnertz and Joey Rollie-Brehmer

Excused: Mike Macken, VJ Thiesse, Terri Pickett, Ted Dow, Nate Bell, Tom Wampach

Unexcused: Bob Adams, Daren Walk

The year of 2003 was reviewed. Joe Jennison commented on RSA Appreciation Week and everyone felt that the week went quite well. The Wall of Fame Dedication was outstanding, and attendance was good. We will continue to hold this event for our membership, and anyone that has any ideas, let us know.

Joe Jennison commented on the football tournament and things went well despite the cold weather. We will continue to stay on the 3-communtiy rotation.

Joe noted that we still have 3 people up for nomination t o the Minnesota Softball Hall of Fame. They are Cindy Nelsen, Dawn Baudion and Jim Hasley. Becky sits on the selection committee, and they meet in September. She will keep us posted.
